Tenant registration will be suspended for 2022.
YES, we are still dealing with COVID19. Some gatherings, events, programs, shows, and entertainment are being canceled. All over the country, many states are seeing new “spikes” of COVID and restrictions are being implemented or brought back. Locally in Cape May County, there is a level of concern of the same thing happening here.
It is the responsibility of all Owners to provide family / guests / renters with a complete set of rules and the current pandemic modifications. Owners must ensure they know and abide by all Rules & Regulations. Thank you for your cooperation especially during this ongoing pandemic.
TRASH and RECYCLABLES CITY & county rules
Unit Owners and Guests-Tenants
We need 100% cooperation and compliance with all RECYCLABLES and TRASH City & County rules for a commercial facility. Please review the list of allowable and not allowable items.
All paper and cardboard items that do not contain waxy coatings, food, food waste, or bodily fluids.
All plastic items less than 2 1/5 gallons in size.
All metal items less than 5 gallons in size.
All glass containers less than 5 gallons in size.
RECYCLABLES:
Recyclables are not to be bagged, only approved Cardboard, containers, cans, bottles and returnable beverages are permitted. We have to comply with Cape May County laws and ordnances.
Cape Roc is a Commercial account and must abide by commercial rules, not homeowner rules which our more lenient vary by local governments. Please take all NOT ALLOWABLE refuge with you home.
NO PLASTIC BAGS ARE ALLOWED WITH THE RECYCLING PRODUCTS
All recycling must be loose in the receptacles or the whole container will not be picked up.
Anyone disposing of cardboard boxes must break them down and place in the recycle cans.

TRASH:
Only “allowable Trash” can be put in the trash rooms on each floor for the dumpster at Cape Roc”. Trash must be bagged in plastic garbage bags and tied, then taken to the trash containers located on each level.
ALLOWABLE TRASH:
The only acceptable trash are bags from the units that contain:
Household food waste,
Paper, napkins, etc.
Food packaging.
Scraps of food
TRASH NOT ALLOWABLE:
NO FURNITURE,
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS,
PLUMBING FIXTURES,
MATTRESSES,
ELECTRONICS,
PAINTS SOLVENTS OR OTHER LIQUIDS
NO MEDICAL WASTE
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE.
If you have furniture that you would like to discard or donate, please check out the following organizations. Be sure to ask if there is a fee for the furniture take-away service!!

Common Walkways
Owners furniture on common walkways is to be removed by Sunday, November 1, 2024.
Personal furniture on the common walkway during the summer in front of your unit only can consist of 2 white chairs and 1 white table or 1 white bench. Folding beach chairs may be placed outside your unit provided that the folded beach chairs do not protrude beyond the depth of your white chairs. Other gear is not permitted on the walkways. Please notify your family, guests & tenants of the walkway requirements.
LUGGAGE CARTS
Owners please inform Family, Guests and Tenants when using the complimentary luggage carts to ensure they are returned when done for others to use.
The four carts are housed next to elevator south wall, where they are available for use by Owners, Family, Guests and Tenants only.
Winter Heat Setting
Owners are responsible for setting the heat in their units at a minimum of 50 degrees between December 1 and March 31. During this time period, unit inspections will be performed to ensure that your heat has been set as required by our condominium insurance. Please note that this is a rule, subject to fines, if violated. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
